[Suggestion] Using the scroll wheel

    General discussion

  • My first suggestion :

When pinching in and out with a touch screen on the main Tile UI you can get a zoomed out perspective. How about for the mouse we are given the option to do the same but with the simplicity of the scroll wheel on the mouse?

Just a suggestion, share your opinions!

I'ld say just scrollwheel to zoom in/out.

And for scrolling the menu, click+drag.

That's how I expected it to work, since that is generally the default when you try to emulate a finger with a mouse.

  • I expected the scroll wheel to scroll horizontally in the start menu and CTRL-scroll to zoom.

  • I guess both could be defended.

I had my expectations because that's pretty much how it worked in the MS Surface emulator.

Speaking of which...  I also expected to see more convergence between MS Surface and Win8.
