Samsung hardware does not Standby properly RRS feed

  • Question

  • hi,

The samsung hardware given in the //BUILD does not standby properly.
It goes into standby and comes right back up or starts up in 10mins.

Do i need to change some setting or it is a hardware bug ?

    Thanks

  • Have you tried running the "Refresh your PC without affecting your files" option in Control Panel > General?  Try running it in case you can't pinpoint and disable whatever process that is waking up your unit.

If you do run that option, be aware that:

    • Your files and personalization settings won't change.
    • Your PC settings will be restored to their defaults.
    • Apps from Windows Store will be kept, but all other apps will be removed and will need reinstallation.

  • Run powercfg.exe to see what wakes up the device:
