A circular dependency was detected RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Guys,

    I get the error A circular dependency was detected: PowerBI_Customer_Last180Days[AcceptedQueueTime],PowerBI_Customer_Last180Days[SLA2]+PowerBI_Customer_Last180Days[AcceptedQueueTime]

    I want to calculate a SLA. I have made the following fields to use:

    AcceptedQueuetime = calculate(countrows(PowerBI_Customer_Last180Days); PowerBI_Customer_Last180Days[queuetime] <20)

    Accepted = sum (PowerBI_Customer_Last180Days[AcceptedCalls])

    Missed = sum (PowerBI_Customer_Last180Days[MissedCalls])

    The field to calculate the SLA =

    SLA2 = DIVIDE(PowerBI_Customer_Last180Days[AcceptedQueuetime];(PowerBI_Customer_Last180Days[Accepted]+PowerBI_Customer_Last180Days[Missed]))

    Can someone tell me what i did wrong

  • Hi J.Stoffels,

    Thanks for your quesiton.

    Can you explain more about [MissedCalls] and [AcceptedCalls]?  If they are measures in your model, please share the DAX formula to us. If they are calculated columns or columns for your table PowerBI_Customer_Last180Days, then your DAX formula should be fine.

    To solve your issue more efficiently, would you please share some sample data and expected results?
