Legal responsibility over home use of MSDN RRS feed

  • Question

  • We have purchased a number of MSDN subscriptions and we know that we can control / monitor the use of them on company owned machines on our network (machines put aside purely for dev use by MSDN subscribers). However, there is concern over the use of these at home or on personal devices.

Is the company or the end user responsible for ensuring that they stick to the terms of use when developing at home on a personal device? Is there a paragraph in an MS document anywhere that would support this? The fear is that the company will be held responsible if a user was found to be misusing the subscription outside of work. Thanks.
