How to do 'Show On Desktop' for 'Computer'

    Question

  • In Windows 7, you can click Start, right-click on Computer, and click Show On Desktop to create an icon for Computer.

Is there any way to do that on the Windows 8 Desktop?

    Thanks!

Windows 7 and 8. Right-click the desktop > Personalize > Change Desktop icons (in the left pane) and choose Computer, Recycle Bin, User’s Files, Control Panel and Network.

  • Doh!  Forgot about that.  Wow, that's been there since the Win95/98 days I believe.
