How to pass security token (SAML) coming from one wcf service to another wcf service? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

In my scenario, I am using WPF application as front-end, two relying parties( wcf service1 and wcf service2) and custom STS service. Whenever WPF application sends a request to wcf service1, it first checks whether it has token or not. if token is not present then it internally sends the RST message to STS service, STS service prepares the SAML token and sends to wpf application then the actually request sends along with this SAML token. Again if the wpf application sends a request to wcf service2 , same process has done to serve that request.

How can we pass the SAML token (i.e. coming from the STS service when we sends request  to wcf service1) to wcf service2 to stop the repeated process?

Since I am using the same user, I got the same set of claims from STS service as token.
