Is there any documentation that provides explinations of the architecture and implimentation of this kit? I am trying to use it as the basis of a new retirement community web site but there are numerous aspects of the template that I don't understand but would like to try to learn. As examples, I don't understand the "wizards", I am confused by the database structure and use, and I need to understand some of the new 2.0 "built-in" capablities.

 

Any pointers to white papers, documents or blogs will be appreciated.

I didn't find it for the club starter kit but here you can find some information for the personal starter kit: http://msdn.microsoft.com/coding4fun/webcoder/default.aspx

Also, taking a look at the quickstart tutorials and, what helped me out, take a look at the code and use the help for learning more about ASP.NET 2.0.

http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/express/vwd/starterkit/default.aspx gives a few links to documents, webcasts etc for the club kit.

You might like to visit http://www.learnvisualstudio.net/  which has some free general videos on the ASP.NET2 membership controls etc.

Thanks Colin. I'll pursue those suggestions
