Line Breaks in a Drop-Down List Entry (Content Control) RRS feed

  • Is it possible to insert a line break within a drop-down list entry (content control)?

    I have a form with a mailing address section. I was trying to create a drop-down list with all available mailing addresses but I want the address to appear on two lines (street address, then city province postal code) instead of having the user enter each address field individually.

    Am I going about this the wrong way??

    Update: I forgot to mention, I'm using Word 2007

  • It is not possible with a Content Control.

    If you were to use a userform (custom dialog), you could have two columns in a combobox and when the selected address was inserted into the document, the data from each column could be inserted on separate lines.
