Configuring EndpointSupportingTokenParameters.SignedEncrypted.Add in web.config RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

    I have to create custom binding for a wcf service to receive password as digest from the client.

    I have done this by using EndpointSupportingTokenParameters.SignedEncrypted.Add(new UsernameTokenParameters()) in the code behind. But I want this to be configured in the web.config of the service.

    Tried with

    <customBinding>
            <binding name="CustomWsHttpBinding">
              <transactionFlow />
              <security authenticationMode="UserNameOverTransport" requireDerivedKeys="false" allowInsecureTransport="true" requireSignatureConfirmation="false" messageProtectionOrder="SignBeforeEncrypt"  allowSerializedSigningTokenOnReply="false"  >
                <issuedTokenParameters tokenType="http://schemas.microsoft.com/ws/2006/05/identitymodel/tokens/UserName" />
                <!--<secureConversationBootstrap authenticationMode="UserNameForSslNegotiated" />-->
              </security>
              <textMessageEncoding>
                <readerQuotas maxStringContentLength="10485760"/>
              </textMessageEncoding>
              <httpsTransport authenticationScheme="Anonymous" proxyAuthenticationScheme="Anonymous" maxBufferSize="10485760" maxReceivedMessageSize="10485760" allowCookies="true" />
            </binding>
          </customBinding>

     This did not work. Can anybody please suggest me any other way to achieve this?

    Thanks

  • Hi,Can you explain more clearly for "custom binding for a wcf service to receive password as digest from the client"? What is the specific point for this custom binding.
