How to check for " RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi everyone, here at SANTEL, we are having some trouble with our programming language, cantaloupe. We want the text display command to be: Screen.out("  But, when we try to define the display command as a variable we cannot define it as displaytext="Screen.out("" because the quote from the command is interfering with the defining of the variable. Make sense? Ill spread it out so you can see.

    displaytext=" Screen.out(" "

    This doesn't work because of the quotation mark in the command. Any way around it? Thanks.

  • I don't think there's an easy way to escape quotations in strings, unfortunately.

    However you can use Text.GetCharacter(34) to represent a quotation mark.
