  • Hi Crazydoy,

Thanks for posting in the MSDN Forum.

In Word you are able to get it via ProtectionType property of the Document. In Excel you are able to get it via ProtectStructure property of Workbook. And you are able to count ProtectedViewWindows of the PowerPoint to find out whether presentation in the Protected mode.

If I have misunderstoond anything, please feel free to let me know.

    Have a good day,

    Tom

  • Thanks a lot for answer.

However, I think, i explained "SAFE MODE" wrong.

as far as i know, ProtectedViewWindow in PowerPoint is a defferent mathod in 2010 version.

SAFE Mode that i meant was like '/safe' option in command line.

when we run Office programs with '/safe' option(argument) in command line, Office run as SAFEMODE

(Such as, 'PowerPoint.exe /safe', 'WinWord.exe /safe', 'Excel.exe /safe' and we can also run office programs as 'SAFE MODE' with pressing 'Ctrl' Key while starting)
