CrystalReport with VS 2005 - troubling in printing RRS feed

  • Question

  • After building web application with MS VS 2005, and using CrystalReport, I try to print but it does not.
    Whene building comes this warning

'The value of the 'PublicKey' attribute in 'Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Report Viewer' does not match that of file 'C:\Programmi\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\SDK\v2.0\Bootstrapper\Packages\ReportViewer\ReportViewer.exe'.

I have tried to update ReportViewer to version 2.0.50727.817.
In VS in my file .rpt the print goes on from 'Main Report Preview'.

    Thanks very much.

  • Hi Eugenio,

It looks like you might have the two reporting technologies mixed together. In VS 2005, there is both Crystal Reports and Microsoft Reporting. They are similar, but incompatible technologies.

Are you trying to use CrystalReports or the Microsoft Report Viewer?

The ReportViewer.exe file is used with Microsoft Reporting. Have you created a setup project in your solution?
