Unable to create project with custom EPT in Project Online 2013 Tenant

  • Hi ,

    We are unable to create projects in project online 2013 tenant using custom EPT(has project template) since today morning. It was all good till last Friday(I have created couple of projects with success results), but not working from today(20 March 2017) moring, facing the same issue with all custom EPTs except basic EPT which is "Enterprise Project".

    I also tried with creating new project template with 0(zero) tasks , zero resources, but still facing the same error.

    Queue Jobs Logs:

    Facing the same issue with my Production project Online Tenant and Development tenant as well.

    Please help, what to do to get it resolved.

  • Hi Raj,

    It seems that issue is resolved. I was able to create the Project with custom Project template in EPT. Please try that now and see if that works for you.

    Can you share the error message from the queue? Did you have a site created with a custom site template?

    Thanks for your kind response on my issue, below are the error message screenshots. It hasn't created the site since it got blocked in the Queue itself.

  • Hi Raj,

    We have the issue since Saturday 03/18. I tested with three Project Online 2013 tenant and confirm that something is wrong with Project Online.

    If you don't assign a custom project template to EPT, the project creation is successful. Even if you have a blank template, you can get the issue job type "Project Update from PSI " fails with error ProjectSchedulingEngineException (9133).
