Move document using SharePoint designer workflow RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

Is it possible to move a document to folder level within Document library using SharePoint designer workflow. I also tried to “copy” which allows me copy to library but can’t find folder structure.

    Many thanks in advance.

  • I use these free SharePoint Designer workflow activities: http://spdactivities.codeplex.com/

You would use the "Copy List Item Extended" activity. Change it from copy to move. and in the url of where you want to move it to enterhttp://server/subsite/library/folder

  • Unfortunately I don't think there is a solution that does not require accessing the server
