Format Outlook._MailItem Subject RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi all,

Is there a way to format the Outlook._MailItem subject property in c#, as we all know that we can set Outlook._MailItem to HTMLBody, but don't  we can do the same for the subject property, true?

    Thanks,

    Andie

  • Hi Andie,

    Thank you for posting here.

As far as I know, we can't set the format of the Subject, it just a string.

  • It's neither an Outlook thing nor a C# thing.  The email standards (RFC 822 etc) have no mechanism for doing any formatting.  It's just a simple string.
