Custom outlook 2010 form with vbscript, causing outlook to crash. is there a way to edit the code without opening the form? RRS feed

  • I have been working on a custom form in outlook 2010.  I made a change to vbscript code that now causes outlook to crash on opening the form.  Is there any way to recover or edit the vbscript without opening?

    I added some code to the form open section with intent to pre-fill some of my custom fields with user name, email address, and local timezone.  I have a copy saved as a .fdm file, but cant seem to edit that file without breaking it. it's also published in my personal forms library.

    Any suggestions would be most appreciated.  I'd hate to lose all of the design work I've done on this form already... and yes, lesson learned... don't overwrite the same file when saving new versions :)
