My Signature control is not working on HTC Touch mobile. RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I have devloped a singature control for pockect PC and windows mobile device based on the help provided by MSDN.
    Link is given below.
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa446559.aspx

This control is working fine on Pocket PC and Windows Mobile 5 and 6 devices.
But this not working properly on HTC Touch device. I think this device is using Windows Mobile 6.1 OS.
Signature is not very sensitive on this device.

Can any body let me know, is there any major change has been done by Microsoft in Windows Mobile 6.1 OS regarding this?
Or is there any specific implementation on HTC Touch flow device by HTC due to which signature is not very sensitive.

    Note:
I found one important point regarding this issue.
my signature control is working fine when there is no scrollbar on the form. but it is not working properly if there is scrollbar on the form.
Due to scrollbar in my view, tocuh flow scrolling become effective, due to that mouse move event is not being trapped properly.

does any body have any idea how to deactive touchflow scrolling on any particular form?

    Many-many thanks in advance.

  • Hi Dharmendra,

me too have the same problem. Did u got the answer? I am in trouble with this HTC touch pro2. Even when I try to print using PrnterCE.netCF dll, it prompts for printer selection each and every time even if the bluetooth printer is already paired. It works fine in other HTC models.

    Thanks

  • Hi Ramesh,

I have found a temporary workaround of this problem.

Since problem was occuring only on the screens which have scrollbar, i have put my signature control on seperate screen without scrollbar. A button is given on previous screen to open this signature screen.

Certainly there is some issue with the HTC Touch flow technology. Hope you will also get any solution by changing your GUI.
    Happy coding. :)

    regards,
    Dharmendra
