    But does the Audio continue playing normally?

    Playing a video on Windows 8 in Windows Media Player or Windows 8 Store Video App may temporarily freeze while audio continues playing normally

    Plus you don't provide any code. As if you just want anybody reading your question to assume your code is perfect and not responsible for any issue. Normally I find that not to be the case. Which leaves everybody to guess what the issue, out of who knows how many issues there could be depending on your code or even other possible issues if your code was "O.K.", could be.

  • i am using https://playerframework.codeplex.com/ to play video.

    It is a windows phone app the player freezes after locking and unlocking the phone lock screen.

    The audio also dos not play in the player.

    i use this code  to play the video

     <mmppf:MediaPlayer x:Name="mediaplayer" PosterSource="/Image/.jpg" IsFullScreenVisible="True" />

      mediaplayer.Source = new Uri(employee.video, UriKind.RelativeOrAbsolute);

    i think the player is not actived after the lock screen process.

    how to resume the video playing process ?

  • Hi Venkat,

    If the framework does not replay the video for you, I think you can handle this by yourself. Windows phone provide suspend and resume event, save the play process in suspend event and restore the process when app resume. See more information about app life cycle from http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/hh464925.aspx.

    See how to handle suspend and resume app from http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/apps/xaml/hh770837.aspx.

    If you need to do this in PlayFramework library, I would recommend you post question on https://playerframework.codeplex.com/discussions. It's a third party library and out of our support range.

    Regards,
