Search service not working after windows updated RRS feed

    We updated our servers this morning with the latest updates through our WSUS. After restart the search service isn't working. Event log says:

     

    Application Server Administration job failed for service instance Microsoft.Office.Server.Search.Administration.SearchServiceInstance (82165ca2-0c88-4c8b-b782-257f5b70419d).

    Reason: Object 8106a006-557c-4917-ae9f-414dc95c08f0 not found.

    Techinal Support Details:
    System.Collections.Generic.KeyNotFound Exception: Object 8106a006-557c-4917-ae9f-414dc95c08f0 not found.
       at Microsoft.Office.Server.Search.Administration.SearchApi.get_App()
       at Microsoft.Office.Server.Search.Administration.SearchApi.SetUsersPermittedToQuery(String[] userNames, Boolean force)
       at Microsoft.Office.Server.Search.Administration.SearchServiceInstance.Synchronize()
       at Microsoft.Office.Server.Administration.ApplicationServerJob.ProvisionLocalSharedServiceInstances(Boolean isAdministrationServiceJob)

     

    Anyone?

     

    All services are started. Office SharePoint Server 2007 central administrations says the search is offline.

  • It was apparently a problem in the SQL databases, after manually restarting the 3 SSP SQL databases and restarting the Office search service and iisreset it came back up as it was suppose to. Will flush the data and re-crawl the site. Still getting a few access denied errors though Sad
