How can I display a message using AddNotification() when a button is clicked on? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

    Help, please.

    I have an application page that queries a Web Service using C#. Right now, when the user clicks the ‘run query’ bottom he doesn’t receive any feedback from the page. What I want to do?

    I want to display a notification on the top right corner of the page when the user clicks the ‘run query’ bottom. Basically, it’s something like this:

    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee658473.aspx

    Thanks in advanced!

  • Hello!

    Change behaviour of your submit button. Add client script that shows notification.

    myButton.OnClientClick = "SP.UI.Notify.addNotification("Operation in progress...", true);"

    Here is an example of using notifications.
