Virtual Machine Mac WPF App RRS feed

  • Question

  • If I were to load windows onto a Mac using a virtual machine, would I potentially be able to run a WPF application? If so what are the necessary steps to make this happen? Thanks in advance!

  • Yup, Bootcamp is really just a Windows partition. I've never tried Server or 7 on it, but XP and Vista run fine.

  • Assuming you could get .Net 3.5 running on it, it should work fine. Personally I just use Bootcamp, since none of the VM's can really utilize the video cards very well. I know Fusion keeps a list of what they've tested on their website... no idea if Parallels does the same.

  • So you use Bootcamp and are able to run WPF apps no problem?
