  • Hi,

yes, that's been the same in all Run-Time versions of Access ever.

At least in the kb there has always been a workaround by Ken Getz that ressembles the QBF feature of the full Access version. See e.g. this old article about Access 97. The latest ;-) version as mdb of Access 2000 still can be opened in all newer versions.

  • yes, I saw that old kb... I hoped newer versions would be done.

That workaround is not easy to apply in my case.. I will not use it.

    what a pity!

  • Hi, fmartign
You mention that you can show the button but its not working. Because Access run time provides a limited functionality and features. So you cant use many features of full Access in Access Run Time. Filter by Form is a feature that is not supported by Access Run Time. That’s the reason that your button is not working.
