Does WSALookupServiceBegin with flag LUP_FLUSHCACHE work on XP RRS feed

  • Question

  • If a bluetooth device name changes, how do you get the Windows lookup service to stop reading from previously cached values and read from the devices during lookup?

I've tried including the LUP_FLUSHCACHE flag on the WSALookupServiceBegin function call and the old/cached name is still returned.  Is the LUP_FLUSHCACHE feature implemented in the Windows Bluetooth Stack/driver on XP or Windows7?
