Docker Daemon Paused RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have created an Azure VM with the Windows Server Container Preview. However, Taskmanager shows that the Docker daemon service is paused and I cannot get it to successfully start. The Install-ContainerHost.log indicates that the system is "Waiting for Docker daemon..." (see log snippet below).

I grasping for straws, I downloaded and installed the Docker Toolbox. The various docker commands report that they are unable to connect to the daemon.

Can someone suggest what I have done wrong or left out?
