  • Question

  • I need a Grid to be shown on top of my WebView, but I don't know how to do it...

    This is what I have in my XAML:

    <Grid Background="#FFD4D4D4">
            <Grid x:Name="onTopGrid" HorizontalAlignment="Center" Height="206"  VerticalAlignment="Center" Width="258"/>

            <Grid Width="700" Height="500" HorizontalAlignment="Center" VerticalAlignment="Center">
                <WebView x:Name="WebView6" />
                <Rectangle x:Name="Rect1"/>
            </Grid>

        </Grid>

  • WebView is Always rendered on top, this is caused by the implemention of the webview. in windows 8.1 its much improved.

    To make sure it isnt on top you can use a webviewbrush, but a webviewbrush doesnt allow user interaction.

    have a look here for an sample how to use: http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/XAML-WebView-control-sample-57f0317e
