Not able to start the Host instance+Microsoft.BizTalk.Interop.Agent RRS feed

    I am not able to start the Host instance, Below is the error i am facing.

    I have checked the Introp.dll exist in the GAC.

    ERROR:

    Description:
    A failure occurred when executing a Windows service request.
     
     Service request: Start
     
     BizTalk host name: BizTalkServerApplication
     Windows service name: BTSSvc$BizTalkServerApplication
     
     Additional error information:
     Error code: 0xc0c0153a
     Error source: BizTalk Server 2006
     Error description: A BizTalk subservice has failed while executing a service request.
     
     Subservice: Caching Service
     Service request: Start
     
     Additional error information:
     Error code: 0x80040154
     Error source: Microsoft.BizTalk.Interop.Agent
     Error description: Class not registered (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80040154 (REGDB_E_CLASSNOTREG))

    Thanks for your support...

    If any one faced the same issue ,Please try all the above options ..Even though the problem did not solve, Please reimage or rebuild the server and install the BizTalk freshly, 

    Reimaging is the solution what I have done and it worked for me.

  • Hi,

    Have you changed anything to BTSNTSvc.exe.config? Or anything else that has changed in BizTalkl environment prior to this issue?

  • Check the Logon user id that is used to configure the Biztalk Server is  working fine or not. if the user id is locked this error will be thrown when we try to start the Biztalk Host Instance or Windows service related to that..

    I have tried to register the dll using below command got the below error

    Command: REGSVR32 Microsoft.Biztalk.Interop.Agent.dll

    Error: ...//Microsoft.Biztalk.Interop.Agent.dll was loaded but dll register server entry point was not found, This file can not be registerd.

  • Hi Mahesh,

    After following the KB Article, are you still getting the same error when you are trying to start the host instance. Is the option disable new message publication unchecked now.
