regcap.exe, vista and com registration capture

Question

hello,

i am working on a com project and installing the project with msi package.\

i have added the com project output to the msi and changed the properties to vdprcom.

i believe that by doing this msi would extract the com registration code from the com application using regcap 

tool.

 but this tool is crashing on vista. so nothing is created for registration. i have also run it with admin privilege.

how do you people resolve this problem
