Static Html Page not being loaded. Https page cannot be reached. Http can be reached.

Hello,

Facing a strange issue. Might be something with the native Windows Certificate but I have cleaned, installed and trusted several times as requested here microsoft doc

The basic static html page under wwwroot folder can be loaded in http mode but get error when attempting to load in https mode.

Error on browser windows says page cannot be reached.

what url are you using. the dev cert is for localhost. also be sure you are specifying the ssl port, typically 5001 with asp.net core.

Hi Bruce,

Its local host. Its one of the github applications that I took and deployed on my local machine to get a feel for it.

Not sure how or what worked but shutting down, cleaning and rebuilding solutions several times seems to have done the trick.

Or if I changed something some place.

I honestly cannot say what I did that made it work!

Thank you for your reply though. One thing though, you can choose what ssl port you want to run the app on. I am running the central api on 44373 (just a random number - if it is not being used, I believe you can use it).
