'Microsoft.Exchange.WebServices.dll' referencing issue RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am using Visual Studio 2015 .Net Framework 4.6 and referencing in my application 'Microsoft.Exchange.WebServices.dll'.
    After building, deploying and running my application, I get below error:

    Inner exception: The specified object was not found in the store.
    Exception type: ServiceResponseException
    Source: Microsoft.Exchange.WebServices
    Target Site: Void InternalThrowIfNecessary()

    Please advise what do I need to do here to fix it ?

    This error means you trying to either access an object you don't have rights to (eg somebody else Inbox folder). Or the Item you trying to access has moved (eg an Inbox Rule has moved the item, or it been moved between folders which changes the underlying ItemId).

    You should provide the code your using so others can see what you actually doing to confirm

  • Well I am trying to call Exchange.Helper class which internally references Microsoft.Exchange.WebServices.dll.

    So when I am passing the parameters in the Exchange.Helper class and calling, during the call I receive the error :

    Inner exception: The specified object was not found in the store.
    Exception type: ServiceResponseException
    Source: Microsoft.Exchange.WebServices
    Target Site: Void InternalThrowIfNecessary()

    2) Well which object do I need to check to see if all proper rights are granted ?
