Convert Excel file to "xlsx" or "xlsm" using OpenXML RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi All,

I have a template file which is in "xltm" format. I am adding data to this file and saving it to normal Excel file.

The end user can select to save the file in 3 formats (xls, xlsx and xlsm).

I am creating a copy of the template file and modifying it. At the end of the process, i am renaming to the desired format.

It works fine with "xls" as output file extension. But if i rename it to "xlsx" or "xlsm", i am not able to open the file.

Can anyone explain how can i overcome this problem ?

Basically i need my output file to get saved in in any of the 3 formats (xls, xlsx and xlsm)

    Thanks and Regards,

    YKK Reddy
