  • Hi All, 

    I have a confusion  

    Do .Net Application Loades CLR each time when it runs i.e each Application has its own CLR.

    OR

    All .Net Applications run on  single  CLR of .Net Frame work

  • Each app has its own instance of the CLR.  The code is shared.  This is a standard Windows feature, the CLR is just another set of DLLs (mscoree.dll, mscorwks.dll,  mscorjit.dll and the Ngen-ed images of the core assemblies).
