    I am having some very frustrating issues with VS08 and Blend 3. When I create a new SL app in VS08, Blend 3 automatically opens up and says "the file or folder is not a valid Blend Project".

    1. How do I fix this error

    2. Why does Blend 3 automatically open up... I don't want it to. (this used to not happen)

    Hi ddni_nk,

    In Visual Studio, right click on an xaml file, select "Open With", and check if Blend is set to be the default editor. I guess you set Blend to be the default editor which causes blend to open xaml file automatically.

    [Edit] Or a quick way is to reset visual studio settings by typing "devenv resetsettings" in Visual Studio Command Prompt
