  • When I have downloaded something like Skype onto my computer I start getting the Fatal Error of SetDllDirectoryW(kernel32.dll).  Then Skype will not open.  I deleted Skype off my computer however, when ever I start up the computer now, this message comes up.  It does not seem to affect my ability to use the computer but in a big annoyance.  I have a Windows 2000 Professional NT Technology system.  I know it is old but is all I have to use at this time.
