is it possible to execute a HTTP module only when there is a request for a certain extension (like *.jpg). I know this is possible with a HTTP handler (using the path attribute in the configuration file). But since the HTTP module doesnt have the path attribute i dont know if this is possible. Is er a way to achieve this?

is it posible to check if the request ask for an *.jpg extension? if this is possible how do i do that?

    thnx in advance

Sure, just map the .jpg extension to the asp.net isapi extension, that way when you request an .jpg it will get processed by asp.net and your http module will fire.

    Hope this helps,
