change the separate from DD:MM:YYYy to dd-mm-yyy RRS feed

  • hi all

    i'm working on project that backup SQL daily and archive into ZIP file but i got an error cause i was trying to save the archive with today date and time

    so i think the problem that i need to change separate from : and / to - i think it will be work like that

    or if there is any suggestion please reply

  • What is the problem with today date and time, I know that it can be difficult but not that there is a problem.

    If you want to make a string van a DateTime than it is simple.

    Dim MyDateString = TheDateValue.ToString("dd-MM-yyyy")

    and the result was

    16-20-SS

    where is second?? or should i change this SS to another things?
