bullet chart RRS feed

  • Question

  • I’m trying to create a bullet graph in SSRS to compare [YTD Sales] to [YTD Sales targets].

I’m fine with using the Range(linearRange1), Range(linearRange2), Range(linearRange3). I have them color coded in red, yellow, and green.

I’m getting errors with my linear pointer.  I’m trying to use the following expression to create a percent of target.  I was hoping that this would create the percentage I need for the bullet graph.

    =(SUM(Fields!YTD_Sales.Value) / SUM(Fields!YTD_SALES_TARGETS.Value))

My goal is the simply show the percent of actual sales to target sales against the 100% background. The background would really represent the target from 0 to 100%

Any help accomplishing this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

  • I got this to get it to work

    =CInt(Microsoft.VisualBasic.Interaction.iif((Fields!ID__ACCTS___ACTUAL.Value / Fields!ID__ACCTS___FORECAST.Value) > 1, 1, Microsoft.VisualBasic.Interaction.iif((Fields!ID__ACCTS___ACTUAL.Value / Fields!ID__ACCTS___FORECAST.Value) < 0, 0, Fields!ID__ACCTS___ACTUAL.Value / Fields!ID__ACCTS___FORECAST.Value)) * 100)
