Not able to delete an entity in MDS 2012 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I created an entity for my testing purposes using MDS 2012 and created a business rule on it. I then tried to delete the rule using the Web UI. That rule has been in "Deletion Pending" state for more than a day now and since the entity still has a rule on it, I'm unable to delete the entity itself either. Can someone help me move forward from here?

    My environment details: Microsoft SQL Server 2012 (SP1) - 11.0.3000.0 (X64)
Enterprise Edition (64-bit) on Windows NT 6.1 <X64> (Build 7601: Service Pack 1)

  • Hello,

Did you click on the button "Publish The Rules" because as long as you don't click on this the rule will not be removed.

•We must be a model administrator. For more information, see Administrators (Master Data Services).
