What cause an operation not to show as notification in VPL RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,
I got this problem that I can't figure out why. I implemented an operation derived from Update, and i make sure it is included in the portset. But in VPL, I can't see this as a notification.  Anyone could tell me why?

  • Vincent is correct. If it does not support subscriptions, then it can't have notifications.

In principle, all Replace, Update, Upsert, Insert, Delete operations (anything that modifies the State) should send notifications. However, programmers often do not implement all of these.
