"Widget" isn't something that is part of the UWP/XAML semantics. I thing you mean to ask how do you create *controls*. There's more than one type of control that can be created. There are user (composite) controls and templated controls. Steps for
creating either type are more than you are likely to find in a forum post, but perhaps now that you have the semantics that are used in XAML environments you can use one of the many tutorials that come up from searching on the terms.
It takes all the running you can do to stay in one place.If you want to get somewhere else,you must try to run at least twice as fast as that.
