Restore corev4.css / _Reset alternate CSS URL

Question

Hi

I wanted to change the css references for my site collection so I went to the _Layouts/ChangeSiteMasterPage.aspx page and tried uploading a document which was stored in a document library (http://<servername>/Documents).

Something went wrong here and I receive the following error message:

Cannot make a cache safe URL for "1033/styles/http://<servername>/Documents/<Mycorecss>.CSS", file not found. Please verify that the file exists under the layouts directory.

Can anybody please help me on how to restore to the corev4.css or other solutions?
(without using the UI)

According to a previous post, it is a known bug in the Beta version (I'm sorry for asking it again but I didn't find it at first).

You can resolve the problem by changing your master page:
 <SharePoint:CssLink runat="server" Version="4"/>
to:
 <SharePoint:CssLink runat="server" Version="3"/>

use powershell script to update it:

$site=get-spweb siteurl

$site.AlternateCssUrl="CSS URL"

$site.Update();

this will resolve the issue.
