UWP : Message Dailog is not working with windows 10 Iot core RRS feed

  • Question

  • The below code is not working with windows 10 Iot core while it's working with my desktop application (windows 10).

           MessageDialog showDialog = new MessageDialog("If you leave before saving, your changes will be lost.Do you want to leave");
                            showDialog.Commands.Add(new UICommand("Yes") { Id = 0 });
                            showDialog.Commands.Add(new UICommand("No") { Id = 1 });
                            showDialog.DefaultCommandIndex = 0;
                            showDialog.CancelCommandIndex = 1;
                            var result = showDialog.ShowAsync().AsTask();
                            if ((int)result.Id == 0)
                            {
                                this.Frame.Navigate(typeof(DashBoard));
                            }

    Can any one suggest me what is the issue with iot core (Raspberry pi/ Dragon board 410c)

  • I found the  solution :

    That's because

    Windows.UI.Core.CoreWindowDialog
    Windows.UI.Popups.MessageDialog
    are on the 'not implemented yet' list.
