Ref Apps for small web sites RRS feed

  • I am looking for a reference application of best practises in ASP.Net 2.0 for small web sites (e.g. 2-3 page applications).  Any suggestions?

    The Web Client Software Factory comes with a reference implementation. As the name implies, with this factory you can create web clients with the same patterns and best practices you'll find in the reference implementation itself. It's awesome stuff!

  • Thanks very much for the help - both have been quite helpful.  FWIW, I also notice that the tutorials on asp.net also implement the same reference architecture as identifier in the starter kits.

    (e.g. DAL, BLL, presentation layer).
