How to create a shortcut to my desktop app in Metro Start Screen using the desktop app's installer RRS feed

  • Question

  • My application has an installer that automatically creates  a shortcut on Windows desktop. When the installer runs on Windwos 8 consumer preview machine we also want to create an extra shortcut on Windows 8 Metro Start Screen. I updated my  installer in order to create a shortcut in the folder: %AppData%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs   but it does not appears on Windows 8 Metro Start Screen. Could you tell me what I should do to create a shortcut on Windows 8 Metro UX.
    Thanks
