  • Hi PritomSasuke,

    According to your description, I assume that you use Oracle database, if it is the case. you could use Odp.net or OracleClient to connect your database.

    #ODP.Net

    #OracleClient

    #ConnectionString

  • SqlConnection is a Class for the SQL Server client library. If you do not fully qualify the Class name (e.g. System.Data.SqlClient.SqlConnection) then you need to add an Imports statement at the top of the module:

    Imports System.Data.SqlClient

    Public Class Form7

        Sub OpenSqlDatabase()

            Dim databaseConnection As New SqlConnection

        End Sub

    End Class
