How can i get the size of an Textblock with variable textblock-content? RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello!

I want build a textscroller with horizontal scrolling. Text fpr Scrolling comes from User-Database.

    Textblock shoud scroll from viewport-right to viewport.left  (0) - textblock-length.

Tickertext makes the transition, but stops at 0. I've seen, that TBTickertext.Actualwidth and TBTickertext.DesiredSize are both 0.

What can I do to get the real width of the variable set Textblock-Element?

    Thanks, Thomas

  • Thanks fpr your reply!

Why can we not let do Silverlight the job?

    Why Textblock1.ActualWidth or Textblock1.Rendersize contains 0.0?

As far as i know, these Properties are created to do this job ?!?!

    Thanks Thomas
