HttpException (0x80004005): Failed to load viewstate. RRS feed

    Hi,

I try to create a master/details page. I have a gridview on panel and a detailsview in another panel. I switch the visibility of the two panels. In a commandbar I add some linkbuttons that controls the edit/insert/update/delete ... commands for the detailsview.

Everything works fine when using the asp controls. Now i wan't to use something like FCKeditor or CuteEditor. Everything works fine except when I click the update button. The upate works, the detailsview is hidden and the gridview is displayed. But when I select one of the rows in the gridview after this update I get the following error:

[HttpException (0x80004005): Failed to load viewstate. The control
tree into which viewstate is being loaded must match the control tree
that was used to save viewstate during the previous request. For
example, when adding controls dynamically, the controls added during a
post-back must match the type and position of the controls added
    during the initial request.]
All the other commands work perfect. It's only after clicking the update button and only with one of the free texteditors.
     Can someone help?
    Thanks in advance,
    kGenius

I'm having this same error after updating via a detail view control,

page returns to the data grid list but clicking edit on any record causes this error one an update has been made.

    did you find a fix?

     much appreciated!
