The driver installer with Process.Start() doesn't work RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am developing the driver installer on Windows 8 64bit. I would like to make an installer as C console and lanuch it from C# GUI. However, when it lanuches from C#, an error(0xE000022F) occurs in UpdateDriverForPlugAndPlayDevices. However, when an installer is lanuched directly, it will not cause this error. Is there any measures way?

  • Well 0xE000022F indicates the driver is not signed, which means the installer should not have worked in any situation.  Are you installing the same device when run directly and is it signed?
