# How to do the below conversion?

• ### Question

• Hi,

Actually i have the integer data 8(Hexa). The binary equivalent of 8 is 00001000. But i need to convert it to 00010000(Reversing the binary data) which is equal to 10(Hexa).

similarly 12(Hexa) the binary equivalent is 00001100. I need to convert it to 30(Hexa)(00110000) .

Pls help on this. Your help is really appreciate.

• Note that 00001100 is decimal 12.

One of the solutions (in C#):

```byte number = 12;
byte reversed = Enumerable.Range( 0, 8 ).Aggregate( 0, ( r, i ) => r | ( ( ( number >> i ) & 1 ) << ( 8 - i - 1 ) ), r => (byte)r );
```

• A lookup table is reasonable.

```            byte[] reverseByte = new byte[] {
