Cannot Add Email Address of a User Who is UM Enabled RRS feed

    We are seeing a problem where we cannot add additional email addresses to mailbox objects if the user is UM enabled in Exchange.

    We see the following error in the WSP event log on one of our Exchange servers:

    WARNING: Exchange Invoke error: There is no primary UM extension address although the mailbox is UM enabled.

    This results in the address being present in the control panel but not in Exchange which is obviously not good. 

    We dont want to do anything with UM through the control panel, as far as I'm aware this is not supported, but we still need the ability to manually enable users for UM outside of the control panel and still allow them to fully manage their exchange mailbox via the control panel.

    Can anyone suggest a fix for this?

    Seems like there is very little support for Enterprise Modules.

  • old post but in case someone has the same issue recently as i did
    reset the flag "msExchUMEnabledFlags" so EMC can display mailbox properties again.
