  • Below is working for me.

Formula in conditional formatting -> =AND($D1<>"",$G1="")

and Applies to range -> =$G:$G

  • Hi Amol Gargote,

    Thank you,

=AND($D1<>"",$G1="") did not come with proper result though, I changed to

    =AND($D1>1,$G1=""). Now it is ok.

    regards

  • Have you tried: AND(D:D<>"", G:G="") ?

I must say i tried via Conditional formatting and could not get this to work. The regular Function does work but the formatting did not. I then placed the function in Cel A1 and applied conditional formatting based on the outcome of cel A1.

    In short:

Cel 1: AND($D:$D<>"", $G:$G) -> This evaluates to true or false

Conditional formatting A-Z based on formula =$A=true

This works as expected. Might not be the solution your hoping for but we'll see if other people experience the same.
